I Will Annul Afriwave Contract If . . . - Communications Minister

Communications Minister Dr. Omane Boamah has indicated that his outfit will annul the contract awarded to Afriwave for the Interconnect Clearing House (ICH) if proven fraudulent.

According to the Sector Minister, he will not condone any inappropriate actions for which the contract is inclusive.

The Nkawkaw Police Divisional Command has arrested seventeen (17) suspected of possessing marijuana at Abisu Number 1, a village in the Abetifi (Kwahu) constituency in the Eastern Region.

The Police Command undertook the emergency swoop on the residents of the constituency last Friday. It resulted in 204 bags of marijuana, with an estimated street value of GHc 40,000, being impounded.
