Justice Dotse Is Not The SC; EC Has No Right To Delete Names - Kwesi Pratt

Kwesi Pratt Jnr., Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, says the Supreme Court cannot order the Electoral Commission (EC) to delete names from the voters' register.

He punched holes in the assertion by Justice Jones Dotse, a Supreme Court Judge, who is calling for an expunction of NHIS Card registrants from the current register.

I've No Problem With The "Foolishness" Of NPP...They Think Ghana Is Their Birthright - Dr. Percy

Leading member of the defunct National Reform Party (NRP), Dr. David Percy has launched a scathing attack on the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming the opposition party is putting on airs and acting as if Ghana is their birthright.

According to him, the NPP apparently perceive themselves as forebears of the country and only believe in their own ideologies.

EC Has A Plan With The NDC - Nana Akomea

Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akomea says the Electoral Commission is scheming with the ruling National Democratic Congress, hence the Commission's decision not to delete National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) card registrants.

Nana Akomea expressed worry over the EC's position on the Supreme Court ruling that the Commission should remove names of disqualified persons.

Fred Agbenyo says organizers of the UK Anti-corruption Summit have no moral right to hold a summit to discuss issues of corruption, particularly pertaining to Africa.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, the Deputy Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Agbenyo slammed the summit, claiming most often, Europeans are themselves beneficiaries of corruption in the world.

According to Mr Agbenyo, a wealthy person can decide to convey people of Ghanaian origin from countries like Togo and Cote d’Ivoire to Ghana to register.
