Sammy Awuku has expressed his gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', the National Youth Organizer of the ruling party confirmed that his refusal of government appointment was to allow him to serve the NPP and supposedly ensure victory for the party, come Election 2020.

PeaceFM's Parliamentary Correspondent reports that "152 legislators voted in support of her approval, more than the required half" of the votes of the 275-member house.

Central Regional Minister-designate, Kwamena Duncan says Parliament is on a "slippery road" if the House doesn't fully address the bribery allegations levelled against some members of the vetting committe.

NDC Communicator, Bernard Anim Piesie has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to address the bribery allegation against the Minister for Energy, Boakye Agyarko.
