Mr. Ofoso Ampofo was alarmed by the rate at which galamsey operations have destroyed the country’s water bodies as well as forest covers.

Kwesi Pratt has condemned an alleged assault on a female Ghanaian staff by a Lebanese supervisor at Marwako restaurant in Abelemkpe, Accra.

Jihad Chaaban, 26, brother in-law of the owner of the restaurant, is alleged to have grabbed the neck of Evelyn Boakye, 25, and soaked his face in a blended raw pepper for about 10 minutes before locking the victim up.

The mistreatment of the victim has angered several Ghanaians as they've proposed to stop patronizing the restaurant.
