Atik Mohammed, Policy Analyst of the People's National Convention (PNC) has called for public support for the Kukurantumi Presby Primary School.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Atik Mohammed appealed to the general public to join in his project to equip the school by purchasing some educational essentials like boxes of chalks, registers among other items for the school.
The PNC Policy Analyst, also aspiring for General Secretary of his party, launched a campaign for the headmistress of the school stressing that her boldness and confidence to forward the needs of the school to the Second Lady Matilda Amissah-Arthur is the "mark of a good headmistress."
According to him, the headmistress' plea before the Second Lady proves her genuine service to the wellbeing of the school children.
This therefore is the reason why Atik Mohammed has pledged a sum of money to purchase some items that the headmistress requested from the Second Lady.
"I am appealing and actually I am launching appeal for support...I am personally going to donate 500 Ghana cedi to this project to buy the chalks and the registers...I think this is a genuine course she was making and I think launching such a support will not be a bad idea."
Also pledging support for this worthy course, Nana Boakye, NPP Communicator, also pledged to buy "about 10 boxes of chalks and 20 large exercise books" to support the project.
The public is advised to donate their quota to the development of the Kukurantumi Presby Primary School.
