Kwesi Pratt Jnr., Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper says he is shocked that Ghana's economy will grow by 3.5 percent.

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Mr. Pratt noted that it will be a miracle to the nation should Ghana indeed see such improvement.

He was speaking in relation to the revelation by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that Ghana's economy will grow by such percentage.

Dr. Ali-Gabass Sentenced To 25 Years In Jail For Defiling 16-Year-Old Boy

Dr. Sulley Ali-Gabass, a senior medical doctor at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Takoradi has been sentenced to 25 years in jail.

Dr. Al-Gabass has been standing trial for sodomizing a minor.

The Cocoa Affairs Court presided over by Mrs. Rita Agyeman-Budu Monday morning made a final ruling on the pending case.

NPP MP Urges PPP To Go To Court Over Talensi By-Election

Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama, Henry Kokofu has implored the Progressive People's Party (PPP) to file a suit against the Electoral Commission over some malpractices that preceded the Talensi by-election.

According to Hon. Kokofu, the leaders of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) should proceed to the High Court and show evidence of such malpractices.

He recounted that PNDC law 284 sets right the circumstances under which elections can be cancelled and so charged the PPP founder Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom to seek justice.

The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has organized a constitution review workshop for political party leaders in the country and from other African countries.

The workshop was held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra on Wednesday July 8 to thrash out issues about the "Winner-takes All" mantra in African's political climate.

Mahama's Gov't Can't Control Fuel Prices - BDC Boss

Fuel prices have soared up close to 15 percent at various fuel stations in the country.

The new price adjustments though vary from one station to the other.

Shell pump station at Asylum Down disclosed there was a 50.5 pesewas increase in the price of petrol, up from 3 cedis to 47.4 pesewas to 3 cedis 97.9 pesewas per litre; citifmonline report revealed.
