Cwesi Oteng to embark on a giving mission in September

Gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng is embarking on a mission to give back to society and also touch the hearts of music lovers in four cities in Ghana.

The mission, The Mercy Project, will see the God Dey Bless Me star give his fans a well-planned series of gospel music events in Takoradi, Bolgatanga, Kumasi, and Accra.

Not only will he take to the stage to thrill the countless patrons who will attend the events, Cwesi Oteng will use the occasion to also outdoor his much anticipated gospel and inspirational music album, Mercy Project.

The Mercy Project, according to a statement issued by the management of the artiste, comes from inspiration he received to propagate the message of God’s mercy to the world.

The long term goal of the project, which is in two phases - Mercy Project Music and Mercy Project Social Cause - will facilitate evangelism about God’s mercy through tours, ministration invitations, ministry supports for churches and schools, among others.

The second phase will see Cwesi Oteng embark on several charitable activities that will attend to the needs of the sick, the condemned, poor and troubled in society.

Management of the artiste told Myjoyonline.com that the project will kick off in September but will release dates for each venue soon.

In another development, Cwesi Oteng is eying bagging three awards at this year’s Africa Gospel Music Awards (AGMA) slated for Saturday, July 7, at the Hippodrome in London.

The artiste has been nominated in the Song of the Year, Video of the Year and Artiste of the Year (West Africa) categories of the awards.
