A member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication team, Fred Agbenyo, has urged Ghanaians to collectively assist the current administration to put in place measures to boost the economy.
Speaking on "Kokrokoo" on Peace FM, Fred Agbenyo called for a change of attitude among the citizenry. According to him, it is about time the nation makes concerted efforts to stabilize the economy.
Touching on the state of the economy, Fred Agbenyo recapped the economic challenges crippling the country stressing until the nation begins to do things differently, it will be almost impossible to see light at the end of the tunnel.
He recounted that Ghana has over the years been a leading importer of foreign commodities; an action that drains the country's revenues.
He posited that the progress of the economy relies on the entire Ghanaian citizenry or else to him, "even if you bring down an Angel to rule this country; things will still remain as they are because there are some basic and fundamental things that we need to resolve.”
