To many Christians, going to heaven is by the salvation grace that their Maker showers upon them. To some, it is their deeds that will determine their entry into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 7 verses 13 and 14 tell Christians that the gate to heaven is narrow while the gate to hell is broad and many people find their way to destruction.
"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way. But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it. (NLT)"
But to Bishop Obinim going to heaven is lottery because heaven is a "game of chance".
He made this comment when asked by host of UTV's Adekye Nsroma show, Yaa Konaman to explain one of his videos which captured him purportedly justifying people who stake lotto in his ministry.
Staking lotto is seen by some men of God as an abomination to God and so, they advise their members to desist from such venture.
Bishop Obinim, in an interview on UTV, disputed the fact that lottery is bad saying lottery is regarded as a chance event and so is the kingdom of heaven because it is either a person will go there or not make it there on doomsday.
