PPP Parliamentary candidate for Efutu, Nana Ofori Owusu has called on President John Dramani Mahama to sack all his Ministers who partook in the signing of the Montie 3 petition book.
Addressing the issue on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Nana Ofori Owusu bemoaned the behaviour of the President's ministerial appointees.
He expressed disappointment in the Ministers for ignoring the official duties to join the bandwagon to sign the petition book for Presidential pardon for the Montie trio in prison.
According to him, the Ministers have stabbed President Mahama in the back because by virtue of signing the book, they are telling him to wake up from his slumber and act presidentially.
This, Nana Ofori Owusu, found demeaning to the President because the Ministers are "directly employed by the President", so "President Mahama should sack every Minister, every appointee who’s signed the book because maybe the President doesn’t want to pardon them.” |
