Nana Ofori Owusu, Parliamentary candidate for Efutu on the ticket of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), has asked President John Mahama to withdraw the appointment of John Oti Bless as a Deputy Minister.
According to him, John Oti Bless has dishonoured the President by making disparaging remarks about Judges in the country.
Following the imprisonment of the Montie FM contempt culprits, an audio recording also emerged which had Oti Bless casting invectives on the Supreme Court Justices on the same Montie FM platform.
Sources indicate that the Deputy Minister designate for Local Government was part of the discussions that went on the same Montie FM 'Pampaso' programme where the Montie 3 made contemptible comments about the Judges.
Speaking on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Nana Ofori Owusu stated emphatically that President Mahama will be committing a grievous sin against the people of Ghana should he consent to the appointment of Oti Bless as a Deputy Minister.
“The President must withdraw his nomination immediately because this man has gone against every single thing the President has said. Should this individual be made the Deputy Minister of Local Government, it’s tantamount to committing a crime against the people of the Republic of Ghana. There’s nothing honourable about the Oti Bless man," he said. |
