Adebayor Buys Range Rover for Funny Face

Togolese born Tottenham Hotspur footballer Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has bought a brand new Range Rover Sport and handed it over to Ghanaian comedian Funny Face as a birthday gift, says information reaching NEWS-ONE. Details are still sketchy but Adebayor, during the Stars Soccer Fiesta held at Kumasi recently, was said to have been so impressed by the buffoonery of Funny Face and actually promised to buy the comedian any car of his choice as long as it could be bought with money. True to his words, Adebayor has reportedly given Funny Face aka ‘Swaagon Papa’ a brand new customized Range Rover Sport valued at an estimated $80,000, approximately GH¢160,000. Funny Face drives a fairly used Toyota Corolla that is always breaking down but his new car is said to be an all-black one with leather seats customized with the inscription ‘Swaagon Papa’ and it also comes with fitted-in LED screens “Before we got to Kumasi, we were waiting at the shopping mall for the rest of the players when Adebayor arrived. By then Funny Face was seated on the floor and asking someone to put some curls in his hair. “Ade seemed impressed and did not hide it. He started talking about the guy and when we got to Kumasi, Ade asked Funny Face to choose any car of his choice so he buys it for him. In fact, we thought it was a joke. When we were returning to Accra, Funny Face said he would have opted for a Range Rover but was thinking of how to maintain it,” NEWS-ONE gathered form an eyewitness. Funny Face, known in real life as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, was said to have received the Range Rover last Wednesday as a birthday gift from Adebayor and was yet to overcome the shock. Emmanuel Adebayor is resident in Ghana and has proven to be a philanthropist who has sponsored several charity projects. He recently launched his charity foundation- Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor (SEA) with the slogan ‘Changing Lives’. The SEA primarily seeks to provide basic human necessities for deprived communities and individuals in Ghana and Africa as a whole. Source: News One
