Ghanaians Should Adopt The Right Character in The Treatment of Malaria

The Programmes Officer of the National Malaria Control Programme of the Ghana Health Service, James Frimpong has urged Ghanaians to adopt the right character in the treatment of Malaria.

He admonished the citizenry to make the necessary interventions to fight the disease.

He noted that combating the spread of Malaria is a collective responsibility of all Ghanaians and so, hoped the right measures will be put in place to check the disease.

He said, in an interview with Joy FM, that “it is up to the entire population to also take interventions in place and use. I believe that we have done a lot…In the last three years, for instance, we embarked on nationwide distribution of essential treated bed nets from community to community.”

He further stated that his outfit would ensure that every household in the nation benefits from the distribution of treated mosquito bed nets to get rid of the disease.
