Nduom's 'Disqualification' A Blessing In Disguise...We Thank EC - PPP Efutu Candidate

PPP Parliamentary candidate for Efutu constituency, Nana Ofori Owusu has expressed sincere gratitude to the Electoral Commission Boss, Charlotte Osei, for disqualifying their Presidential candidate from contesting the 2016 elections.

Nana Ofori was thankful to the EC Boss because to him, the disqualification of the PPP Presidential candidate, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is now a blessing to the party; eventhough the EC meant it for bad.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Nana Ofori noted that Dr. Nduom has won the hearts of several Ghanaians and become iconic in several households in the nation, particularly his constituency, due to the decision by the Commission to disqualify him from the Presidential race.

He recounted that his constituents have been crying out loud for the PPP flagbearer, who they believe is the Saviour of the Republic.

According to him, they have been heartbroken by the sudden disqualification of Dr. Nduom and so are willing to vote massively for him.

Nana Ofori assured Ghanaians that the PPP will ensure a return of Dr. Nduom on the ballot paper before the December polls this year.

It’s somebody’s wish. It’s the EC’s wish but the matter is not over. That’s why we’ve gone to the court. This issue excites us. This is a blessing from God…When lightning flashes and thunder roars, the son of the wicked begins to tremble. The son of the righteous remains calm. PPP; we’re calm, still waters. We’re going through this clean…It’s a blessing in disguise. We thank the EC. I thank Commissioner Osei.”

He further disclosed that the party has filed a legal suit against the EC and petitioned the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) and the Attorney General for alleged impropriety on the part of the EC.
