National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has attributed the conduct of the Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Ms. Lauretta Lamptey to "greed and wickedness" of the part of the country's leaders. According to John Boadu, the CHRAJ Commissioner's exposé is just a tip of the iceberg, having allowed herself to be ensnared by the trappings of power and further engaging in the abuse of office as practiced by several government appointees. Making his submissions on Peace FM's political analysis programme "Kokrokoo", the NPP National Organizer ascribed the alleged misdemeanor of the CHRAJ Commissioner to the failure of institutions to check corruption and other inappropriate acts of leaders in the country as a result of weak systems. Alluding to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry set up by the government of Ghana to investigate Ghana's participation at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, John Boadu believed the CHRAJ Boss has been singled out for shame. To him, Ms. Lamptey's case is a microscopic aspect of the malfeasance that goes on in government. “Salary payment and emolument of our country is not a problem. The problem is the greed and wickedness of those leading us," he noted. The CHRAJ Boss has been flaked by critics this week following revelations that over $203,500 has been spent on renovating her official residence.
