Host of Peace FM's Morning Show "Kokrokoo", 'Chairman General' Kwami Sefa Kayi has called on Francisca Adjei, NDC activist, to proceed to court and sue anyone who splashed her picture over social media, as having been arrested at the Heathrow Airport in London for drug trafficking.
Addressing the issue, the affable presenter was unenthused about the social media misconceptions regarding the arrest of a Ghanaian woman at the Heathrow Airport for carrying 12.5kgs of cocaine.
Chairman General questioned the rationale behind the reports that the Ghanaian woman, Nayeli Ametefeh who turned out to be the lady arrested for trafficking cocaine worth millions of dollars, bore semblance with Francisca Adjei.
Moderating a panel discussion on Kokrokoo, he held that Miss Francisca Adjei has been maligned by the media, political commentators and distributors and "deserves an apology. I think she’s been very unfairly treated.”
He therefore entreated her to sue anybody who fed into the suspicion that she had been arrested, in order to clear her name.
"I think that we all owe her an apology. Those who did that, very rightly, should be man enough to apologize…If she wants to sue, she can go ahead.
“Let her go to court. She should sue the people…She should go ahead and sue, and clear her name.”
One key actor who claimed that the lady arrested is President John Mahama's "girlfriend" was the Communications Director of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah.
He claimed the lady somehow had amorous relationship with the President.
Host Kwami Sefa Kayi therefore stated emphatically that Miss Francisca Adjei should sue him (Owusu Bempah).
“Take am go court, make them skin am alive…March them to court, sue their skins off their bones," he concluded. |
