Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour has advised the New Patriotic Party and has called on the party to maintain unity and order.
Speaking to delegates at Sunyani during the NPP Congress, Ex-President Kufour noted that it is only when the party is united that victory in the 2016 Elections will be guaranteed.
According to him, the party executives from National to constituency should see themselves as servants and serve the party accordingly to boost NPP fortunes, come 2016.
He called for collective efforts by all party members including the suspended leaders to empower the NPP Flagbearer, Nana Addo to unseat the incumbent government.
To him, unity in the party will woo several Ghanaian electorates and a section of the ruling party members to vote the NPP into power.
"We need everybody within the party, closed the lines because it is power. The justification for the party is winning power. We need power so we must (have) include everybody within the party. Anybody who professes to be with us, we must include them. And not only that; when we show unity, I tell you we become beautiful. We become sexy,” he told the delegates. |
