NDC Constituency Executives and some youth activists at Bongo in the Upper East Region have reportedly chased out the party's aspiring Parliamentary candidate, Edward Bawa.
Edward Bawa was sacked during a meeting held at Vea in the Bongo when the he is said to have rudely interrupted the meeting proceedings.
Mr. Bawa, who was embarking on a reconciliation tour in the constituency, saw the irate youth register their displeasure with his presence, hooting at him and so had to be walked out from the meeting premises.
Constituency Communications Officer of the party, Edward Asikere described Mr. Bawa's behaviour as unfortunate.
"Let him suffer because he is not ready to cooperate with some stalwarts of the party to work towards victory in November 7. Skirt and blouse is certain and we are going to vote for either the NPP parliamentary candidate or the PPP man," Mr. Asikere noted.
"We are embarking on agenda "vote heavily against arrogant Mr. Bawa and give Mahama a gargantuan victory," he added.
The youth activists in an interview with Peacefmonline.comaccused Mr. Bawa, who also doubles as the Communications Director of the Energy Ministry, of creating disunity in the party.
