Allotey Jacobs: Let’s At Least Be Grateful…Mahama Is Both Our David & Solomon

Central Regional Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress has sarcastically challenged the Trade Union Congress (TUC) not to hesitate to vent their spleen on the Mahama administration.

Allotey Jacobs charged the Union and Organized labour not to renege on its decision to protest against President John Mahama; derisively claiming such action would solicit the right response from the Presidency.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", he bemoaned the ingratitude nature of Organized labour and the entire citizenry towards President John Mahama and his government.

Allotey Jacobs fired salvoes at the citizenry as he likened Ghanaians to the "children of Oliver Twist."

To him, Ghanaians will continue to be "ingrates" no matter the efforts by the government of the day to revive the already dwindling economy.

"Whatever you will do for Ghanaians, we will ask for more,” he exclaimed, adding that President John Mahama and his government appointees will not bow down their heads in shame but rather persevere to relieve Ghanaians from their predicament.

“President Mahama’s swearing in and victory in 2012 elections was to carry the cross of Ghana. Our troubles and burdens are all on President’s head. We are having a David in the person of President Mahama. We are having a Solomon in the person of President Mahama.”

In his concluding remarks, Allotey Jacobs asked Ghanaians to offer prayers for the President as he carries out his mandate.

“When you say a prayer, say one for President Mahama," he requested.
