We Can’t All Be Friends!!!…Why Should Everyone Root For Nana Addo? NPP MP Quizzes

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso-West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko has called for a cease fire to all the internal wranglings and infightings within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Addressing the issue on “Kokrokoo” on Peace FM, Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko called the leaders and members to order, stating emphatically that in every political party in the nation and beyond, the members will surely step on one another's toes. But to him, it is prudent the party resolves its conflicts and unite itself when challenges arise.

According to Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko, the beauty of a political party is not to avoid internal strife but rather to iron out their differences.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi, he said; “In a party, we must not all agree. We must not all be friends and buddies…When Kufour won Presidency, there were people in the party that were against him and didn’t like."

He also called for unity to exist between sympathizers of the two-time Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Alan Kyeremateng.

He wondered why the followers of both candidates have been fussing themselves over "trivial" comments and criticisms made about their candidates because to him, such things are bound to occur in the NPP.

“Why do we want to tickle ourselves and say that everybody should like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo? No! It’s not possible. It will never be. He will leave. His time will come and he will go. The person who will assume his position; the same thing will happen. But as party people, we must agree that we are on the same side…Political parties everywhere; it is the same,” he pointed out.
