Unravel Mystery Behind MP's Murder...Arrest Must Not Be An End - Sam George

Sam George has appealed to the Police Service to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the legislator J.B Danquah.

Contributing to Peace FM's political programme 'Kokrokoo', Sam George told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the Police should delve deep into the circumstances that led to the murder of the late Member of Parliament.

According to him, the arrest of one person should not be the final plot but rather a means to unearthing all masterminds involved in the killing.

Once they have grabbed someone who has confessed to the crime, we don’t want it to end there. We need to understand the mystery and the reasons behind why Hon. J.B Danquah was singled out for that dastardly act. Was it just an act of coincidence? Or was this a planned thing on the part of young criminal minds or were these young criminals just a tool for a larger group of political gymnastics going on somewhere? We’ll need to unravel this case.

He commended the Inspector General of Police John Kudalor for the swoop on the crime suspect but was however unhappy about the way that the crime scene of the late MP was interfered by the public.

To him, the Police shouldn't have allowed the public to enter the house of the late MP and claimed they tampered with the crime scene.

We allow people get into all of this crime scene, contaminate the crime scene and at the end of the day, we want the Police to do magic. We need to begin to get to that point where our actions will help the work of the Police.”
