Kwesi Pratt has lauded the heroic efforts of DCOP Kofi Boakye, the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, in clamping down on social misfits in the region.
Speaking on "Kokrokoo" on Peace FM, the Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper commended DCOP Kofi Boakye for maintaining peace and order in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, DCOP Kofi Boakye, popularly called "Commander One" has restored the confidence that the Police Service lost in the region.
To Kwesi Pratt, his recent arrest of a suspected armed robber believed to be part of the gang that murdered Ecobank Manager, Mr. Richard Sallah also deserves commendation.
The suspect, Samuel Boadi, 20 years, was arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command last Monday.
Mr. Pratt was of a strong view that the DCOP Kofi Boakye "deserves an award".
