Former National Youth Organizer of the Conventions People's Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, has implored President John Dramani Mahama to lead the crusade for fasting and prayers in the year 2015.
Kabila, as the CPP Youth activist is affectionately called, stressed that the current administration deserves to seek God's forgiveness for their deeds last year.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kabila told host Nana Yaw Kesse that the Mahama-led NDC government should also pray for God's guidance to govern the nation well in this New Year.
Reiterating the demands on the Mahama administration by the party's General Secretary, Ivor Greenstreet that the Presidency should embark on either a 14 or 21-day prayer and fast "to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and Fire", Kabila called the President's attention to the scripture in Psalm 146 and stressed that he depends on his Maker to rule the country.
To him, there cannot be any better person than President Mahama to “lead the crusade for fasting and prayers, 14 days, dry! Just as we celebrated dry Christmas.” |
