Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mike Oquaye Jr. says the party will retire President John Mahama in this year's November Presidential polls.
Mike Oquaye was hopeful that Ghanaians will give the NPP mandate to rule the country due to the poor governance system of the Mahama administration.
Hailing Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia of the NPP for exhibiting great leadership, Mike Oquaye told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that President John Mahama in his "8-year term under the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)" was chosen to be Ghana's ambassador over all activities in the nation.
And so, “If President Mahama chooses an ambassador to represent us in Brazil and he misconducts himself, won’t he call for his return? So, if you’re also the ambassador of our taxes, the ambassador of our revenue, the ambassador of our health, the ambassador of Fair Wages and Salary Commission in terms of Single Spine and all the monies that we give you, and you can’t be a good ambassador; we will retire President John Mahama” this year, he stated.
He described Nana Addo and his Running mate as champions of governance and the economy, therefore stressing that the NPP has a "champion governor in terms of governance - Nana Addo - Champion economist in terms of running the economy - Dr. Bawumia -; coming together to give Ghana good governance, good economy; this means the cries of Ghanaians are over.” |
