Moses Foh Amoaning: "If This Pope Goes On The Way He’s Going, He'll Not Last Long"

Private Legal Lecturer, Moses Foh Amoaning says he is greatly disappointment in Pope Francis for failing to openly condemn homosexual acts.

Speaking to Radio Gold on Tuesday, Lawyer Foh Amoaning lambasted the Pope, stating firmly that his position on homosexuality is unscriptural and distasteful.

Pope Francis, addressing a section of the media at Brazil, reaffirmed the Roman Catholic Church’s position that homosexual acts were sinful but stressed that homosexual orientation was not.

Without mincing words, the Pope insisted that homosexuals should not be judged.

"If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him?"

He further said that the sins committed by gay clergy should be forgiven and forgotten.

"The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this very well," he said, stating that "It says they should not be marginalized because of this but that they must be integrated into society."

"The problem is not having this orientation...We must be brothers. The problem is lobbying by this orientation, or lobbies of greedy people, political lobbies, Masonic lobbies, so many lobbies. This is the worse problem." Pope Francis opined.

This notwithstanding, Lawyer Foh Amoaning believed the Pope’s stance on the issue is a betrayal of the Christian faith since, according to him, the word of God frowns on the act.

He expressed sadness that Pope Francis thinks he would be judgemental should he condemn homosexuals.

To him, “if the church takes a moral position which is scriptural, it is only making a statement as of the right way of human behavior. So, I’m surprised that he’s taking a bad position. It is unchristian, it is unbiblical.”

He therefore cautioned the Pope and prophetically intoned that should he continue to justify the act, his tenure may be short-lived.

“If this Pope goes on the way that he’s going, he will not last long,” because homosexuality is “an occult. It is a spirit.” Moses Foh Amoaning asserted.
