Prez Mahama Must Sack KMA Boss Or . . . - Nana Boakye

Kojo Bonsu
NPP Communicator Nana Boakye, popularly called Nana B, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to sack the Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Kojo Bonsu.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on the Wednesday edition of Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Nana Boakye implored the President to take an action against the KMA Boss because he believes the Minister had disrespected the Ashanti Regional Traditional Council.

According to Nana B, the grievances expressed by the traditional council are serious and deserve attention from the President.

Manhyia Palace on Monday sanctioned Kojo Bonsu for disrespecting Otumfuo Osei Tutu, Great King of Asanteman.

The traditional council, as a part of their protest against Kojo Bonsu over his lack of respect for the Overlord of Asanteman slaughtered a sheep and summoned the KMA Boss to appear before Asanteman to be queried by the council.

Commenting on the issue, Nana B faulted the KMA Boss for the reaction from Asanteman and further called on him to boldly resign.

“It’s either Mr. Kojo Bonsu must resign or President Mahama will sack him.”

Nana B noted that it will be quite difficult for the rites performed against Kojo Bonsu to be revoked.

Also addressing the issue was senior journalist Kwesi Pratt.

Mr. Pratt advised Mr. Kojo Bonsu to appeal to the bigwigs in the Region and join a delegation to apologize to the Overlord of Asanteman and the entire traditional council.
