Atik Mohammed has implored President John Mahama to apologize to Ghanaians for undermining their rights.
Responding to President Mahama's recent comments against the opposition New Patriotic Party, the PNC General Secretary aspirant condemned the President's utterances.
According to him, President Mahama goofed for suggesting that only former Presidents Kufour and Rawlings had the right to label him as incompetent.
Upset about remarks used against his administration by the New Patriotic Party's Dr. Bawumia, President John Mahama stated emphatically that only people who have tasted the Presidency have the audacity to describe him as an incompetent leader.
Following the President's comments, several socio-political commentators have shared their opinions with some lambasting him for failing to recognize the "thumbprints" of Ghanaians that brought him into power.
Atik Mohammed told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that “Ghanaians deserve an apology from you. You really goofed this time. You must apologize to us because we installed you. Your comfort is paid for by the ordinary Ghanaian tax payer. You cannot tell me that we service your comfort so that you turn around and tell us that the right to tell you what you must do is given to only two persons. I think it’s unfortunate.” |
