The Former Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon Ebenezer Teye Larbi has rubbished the indefinite suspension of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, describing the decision as unnecessary.
According to Hon Ebenezer Teye Larbi, the NPP National Chairman, Paul Afoko's suspension is an orchestration by certain 'mighty hands' within the party.
He noted on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" that the NPP functionaries have been gunning up against Paul Afoko and the party's General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong since the party's Tamale Congress.
There have been several machinations directed at the two leaders to impeach them because "some people have already made up their minds that they won’t work with these two persons, before they even leave. But I think that is not going to help them."
Contributing further on the panel discussion programme, Hon Teye Larbi called on the NPP flagbearer Nana Addo to "sit down and make sure that he puts his house in order.”
“NPP’s problem is very simple. They want everything new. They want a new Chairman, a new voters’ register, a new General Secretary. The only person without blemish is Nana Addo. If that’s what they want, fine because they feel he doesn’t make mistake. But I believe that they must put their house in order. What is happening is not good for all of us,” he said. |
