All-Knowing Mosquito Doesn't Trust In The Wisdom Of NDC Delegates - Kwamena Duncan

Kwamena Duncan , NPP Central Regional Secretary, has lambasted the General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia for issuing a stern warning to his party delegates not to elect disloyal executives.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia, also known as General Mosquito is reported to have urged the party delegates to vote for loyal people into positions or otherwise, he would resign from his post.

According to him, loyalty should be the benchmark as the delegates head to congress to elect national executives.

“The next most important thing is loyalty; loyalty to the cause of the NDC. Are you dealing with people who when they lose elections they begin singing with the opposition; dining with the opposition? Are you going to elect leaders who have no problem leaking insider party information to the opposition?

“If that is what you are about to do then please, I beg you, even though no one is contesting me don’t take me for granted, at the end of the day I will also have to decide with my family whether I will contest or not and it depends on the people you put in the team, if I know that team will be a useless endeavour I will not waste my time on that,” he emphasized.

Contributing to Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwamena Duncan asserted that General Mosquito intends to incite the party delegates.

To him, General Mosquito poses a "threat" to the NDC and so, should apparently be brought to order.

“General Mosquito feels that the delegates are incapable of making a wise decision…He has undermined the integrity of the entire party,” he said.

He opined that he (General Mosquito) has belittled the reputation of the delegates by his recent comments, claiming that he does not trust "in the wisdom of the delegates."

In his view, Asiedu Nketia's comments are "a threat to the delegates…the General Secretary has become all-knowing, all-powerful.”
