Nana Addo's Victory Did Not Come On Silver Platter...It Was Hard Work & Persistence - Agyarko Kyeremateng

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wougon, Emmanuel Agyarko Kyeremateng has congratulated the newly-elected flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the massive votes he polled during the party's Presidential primaries over the weekend.

Speaking on Peace FM's Morning Show "Kokrokoo", Hon. Agyarko Kyeremateng lauded Nana Addo and his team for working assiduously to receive the flagbearership crown for three consecutive times.

He ascribed Nana Addo's victory to his tenacious nature and spirit of perseverance.

Alluding to 2008 NPP Primaries where Nana Addo polled 47.97% of the total valid votes cast to emerge winner, Hon. Agyarko Kyeremateng was cocksure the overwhelming endorsement of Nana Addo by the delegates indicate that the party is indeed poised for victory in 2016 with him as the party leader.

“Akufo-Addo has gone from a 47.97% to 94.35% today. It did not come on a silver platter. It was hard work. It was persistence. It was keeping in touch with the voters…They worked extremely hard and they have been rewarded for it,” he told Kwami Sefa-Kayi

He also commended the other two aspirants in the primaries, Francis Addai Nimo and Alan Kyerematen for contesting the position in a healthy competitive manner.
