General Mosquito Goes High-Tech

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress, will go down memory lane if not as the only General Secretary of a political party in the country to own a personal website.

The Chief Scribe of the governing party has been utilizing his website to convey messages to the party faithfuls and the citizenry.

For years now, the world has advanced with the influx of technological devices and systems in place to facilitate the process of sharing knowledge.

Technology has made it simpler for people to disseminate information and know things happening around the world.

The internet has become a major channel in the globalization of the communication industry. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and so forth have brought millions of people closer to one another with just a click.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, known in political circles as General Mosquito, seems to have beaten the Chief Scribe of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyapong to it, hence going "high-tech" as popularly said in the local parlance.
