Thieves Break Into Ghana Embassy In Senegal

Reports reaching Peacefmonline.com indicate that some thieves have raided the Ghana Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's "kokrokoo" programme with host Kwami Sefa Kayi, Kobby an eyewitness and also a business at Dakar disclosed that upon reaching the embassy this morning, the embassy had been broken into by some thieves.



The thieves are reported to have scaled the walls and gone through the windows at the Embassy to ransack the place.

According to the resident who only gave his name as Kobby, the thieves may have bolted away with some valuable items in the Embassy but the authorities are yet to confirm.

Authorities of the embassy and Security Services at Dakar have begun investigations into the incident.

A senior official from the Embassy has also confirmed the incident.
