Ernest
Owusu Bempah, Deputy Communications Director of the National Democratic
Party, says the late President Mills will go into the historical books
of Ghana as the ‘worst’ leader after his successor, President John
Dramani Mahama.
According to him, the late President did not leave a better legacy behind because he was a ‘hypocrite’ and vindictive.
Giving
an account about the life of the late President, Ernest Owusu Bempah
described him as a good educationalist but a leader who could not
forgive the wrongs of his critics.
“I respect him for being a
good teacher. I respect him for being an educationist. I respect him for
being a scholar but when it comes to his normal life, for me, I will
forever say it and say it again and again that Professor Mills was the
most vindictive person I have ever come across in my life,” he asserted.
He
also accused the former Communications Director under the leadership of
late President Mills, Koku Anyidoho, of describing him as a
“diaper-wearing infant”, an insult that, to him, President Mills did not
find time to address, hence charting a new course in the country’s
politics.
In respect of this, he labeled the late President as
“the greatest hypocrite in the annals of Ghanaian politics……He will go
down in history as the worst leader apart from John Mahama.” |
