Fred Agbenyo, a member of the ruling NDC Communication team, says the Mahama administration is the most transparent government ever.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, Fred Agbenyo stressed that President John Mahama is taking pragmatic steps to expose corrupt officials in his government.
According to him, the President does not countenance any act of indiscipline and corruptible practices, therefore has rolled out measures to sanction offenders.
Alluding to the rot at the National Service Secretariat where "ghost names" have been recorded to be on pay roll, Fred Agbenyo commended President Mahama and his government for not concealing any malfeasance.
He disclosed that as part of plans to reduce corruption in government, he (President Mahama) has been in contact with the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) officials to swoop down on the culprits.
He therefore lauded the efforts by the President, saying “I am very encouraged that at least we have a government which is open. We don’t care what happens. There are many Ghanaians who are knowledgeable and wise and prefer, on any day, a government which will open its doors to probe matters.” |
