A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Boakye has slammed President John Mahama, claiming that he has lost grip over his appointees.
According to him, it appears his cabinet and government officials can always wiggle their ways through any act of corruption with impunity.
Contributing on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, he argued that President John Mahama has lost control over his appointees and so, has opened up opportunity for them to embezzle State funds and engage in acts of malfeasance.
To him, he cannot "bite" his appointees hard enough and ensure that they do not flout his orders.
As a mark of weak leadership, “President Mahama has lost control…It’s like everybody is doing what he or she likes. The indiscipline is too much and they do it with impunity. It’s like there’s no elder in the house…Nobody is afraid of Mahama because he doesn’t bite”, he stressed. |
