I'm A Celebrity In Ghana...Over 10 TV Stations Invite Me Daily - Lawyer Maurice Ampaw

Legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw, who has since become a household personality in showbiz, says that about 10 television networks in the country call him each day to deliberate on national issues.

Speaking on Delay Show on VIASAT 1, Lawyer Ampaw told host Deloris Frimpong Manso (aka Delay) that he has become a famous personality on the lips of Ghanaians due to the exposure Ghana’s media gives him.

According to him, every day the media contact him; hence making him popular and a celebrity in Ghana.

"I'm not popular. I'm more like a celebrity. People celebrate me," he told Delay.

Lawyer Ampaw further noted that he speaks his mind anytime on issues and believed such quality of his cannot be disputed; a more reason why the media cannot afford to somehow ignore him.

"I don't make myself popular. It's the media. If you're there and everyday more than 10 TV stations call you on a daily basis to come and appear on their network...and then, radio stations; Ghana and outside the country [the whole country] every day. All the regions, that makes me popular.

That makes my voice to be known. Every day, I have an issue...I'm one of the lawyers who speak the truth. I speak my mind and I'm so passionate about what I do…I don't prepare even for interview. It comes. It flows...It is grace"; a reason why he has caught the media eye in recent times," he tooted his own horn.
