Deputy Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo has dared former Finance Minister, Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo to serve Ghanaians with the original tape of his voice or else eat humble pie.
Reacting to the recent leaked tape alleged to be containing the voice of Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo, Fred Agbenyo condemned the tribal comments expressed by the male voice on the tape.
According to him, Ghanaians must not tolerate such comments since they pose potential threats to the security of the economy.
Fred Agbenyo, who believed the voice on the tape could be that of Mr. Osafo Marfo and also held strongly that it had not been doctored as expressed by some members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), called on him to prove that the leaked tape voice is not his but rather "somebody introduced that expression onto the tape."
He appealed to Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo to retract his comments and render an apology to Ghanaians.
Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo is alleged to have expressed tribal sentiments over the people at the helm of affairs in the country.
He bemoaned why Akan-speaking people whose regions are rich in natural resources fail to be at the forefront of government.
“…You have all the resources, but you have no say in the management of your resources and that is what is happening. Your development depends on the one who has no resources…you can’t say this openly,” the voice said. |
