Sammy Awuku, NPP National Youth Organizer, has cautioned the current administration to stop aggravating the plight of Ghanaians.
Speaking in relation to the new petroleum price adjustments, Sammy Awuku appealed to the Mahama government to find lasting solutions to continuous increments in petrol prices.
According to him, petrol price hikes invariably affect the prices of commodities and services, hence creating a high cost of living in the economy.
Sammy Awuku recounted that Ghanaians have since been saddled with several economic challenges as a result of the practices by the Mahama administration to restore the nation.
Therefore, to him, the new price increments won't augur well for the nation since transport unions in the country may also increase fares and as a result worsen the living conditions of the citizenry.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's"Kokrokoo", the NPP Youth Organizer therefore called on the government to wake up from its slumber.
“This government has adopted some dead goat syndrome which is dangerous…We find ourselves in a deep hole. This government must stop digging.”
Petroleum product prices have gone up by 4 percent exempting premix fuel and residual fuel oil. |
