Allotey Jacobs has advised political figures in the country to seek the face of their Maker to resolve the nation's problems.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, Allotey Jacobs urged his colleague politicians to rely on God's guidance whenever they are taking any action towards the country.
According to him, several politicians seem to have lost touch with God and so "negate" him instead of depending on him.
Delivering what looked like a sermon today on Kwami Sefa Kayi's programme, the Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) noted that though "God has given us brains"; it however doesn't mean politicians should ignore the help of God.
“There’s something in the bible that tells us that where there’s hopelessness, the glory of God begins. So, for whatever happens in our life, we should stand firm in God that God will solve our problems. It appears as politicians, we try to negate our God to the background. Some of us even go to the extent to say that God has given us the brains, so we should use our brains. Yes, God has given us the brains; agreed! But if you don’t seek the face of God, you’ll never see the glory of God and you’ll never be successful.” |
