Member
of Parliament for Mpraeso, Seth Acheampong has called on the newly
elected National Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unify
the party for victory, come 2016.
Hon. Seth Acheampong urged the new executives not to be disunited at the political front.
The NPP, on Saturday, April 12, elected its executives during the party's National Conference held at Tamale in Northern Region.
Over 5OOO delegates cast their votes.
Mr. Paul Afoko won the National Chairman position with 2,034 votes while Stephen Ntim came second on the list with 1503.

Agyepong was also elected the General Secretary of the party with
2,529. He took over from Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie who had 1990.
John Boadu and Sammy Awuku won the National Organizer and National Youth Organizer positions respectively.
Speaking on U TV’s “Adekye Nsroma”
Morning Show, Hon. Acheampong advised the executives to iron out their
differences and rally behind the party to enhance the fortunes of the
NPP.
On the flipside, he rooted for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
as the next flagbearer for the party, for the third time, stating
emphatically that should the NPP "cast votes today, I don’t think
there’s anybody who can defeat Nana Akufo-Addo.”
