I Don't Imagine NDC Will Stay In Power Forever . . . - Fred Agbenyo

Fred Agbenyo says that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot hold on to power forever.

According to the Deputy Communications Director of the NDC, the ruling party may have to cede power to another government in years to come.

But he quickly added that the NDC's cessation of power will only happen when the government is done with her good works to improve the lives of Ghanaians.

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Fred Agbenyo was optimistic that the NDC will win the 2016 elections.

I don’t imagine that NDC will stay in power forever and ever. The only thing I know is that by God’s grace, we shall win the 2016 elections. I can say without any fear or favour. When you look at the work we are doing and by divine help, that election is over. We are only waiting for the physical endorsement from the people of this country.

He however expressed disappointment in some Ghanaians for raising concerns over the borrowing culture of the Mahama-led government.

He explained that Ghanaians want development but cannot fathom why the government will make certain social interventions to revamp the economy.

To him, every sector of the economy such as the road and energy sectors need government interventions.

He cited that Ghanaians want good roads but when the government makes expenditure to construct proper roads in the country; they will turn around to complain bitterly about the spending nature of the government.
