Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Allotey Jacobs has waded into discussions regarding the arrest of the 3 South African Officials for allegedly engaging in acts that threaten national security.
According to Allotey Jacobs, the 3 men deserved to be arrested because they are "trigger-happy people" - to wit they are ready to react violently.
He held strongly that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) wants to wreak mayhem in the country, further claiming that such is the reason for employing the services of the South Africans.
He asked why the NPP couldn't hire the services of private security services in the country but soared beyond the shores of Ghana to South Africa.
To him, the NPP has made mockery of Ghana's security agencies.
He further sought to find out why the NPP would even take their members through security drills including weapon handling.
“Who is after Nana? Who is after the life of Nana? Who wants to murder Nana Akufo Addo?” he questioned.
Referring to the 3 men as "gringos", Allotey Jacobs commended the BNI for swooping down on the 3 men. |
