Managing
Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has fired salvos at
the United States of America, accusing its intelligence and security
services of perpetrating terrorism across the globe.
According to him, United States of America is to blame for all the terrorist actions worldwide.
He
disclosed that US leaders in their attempt to oust certain world
leaders, whose principles conflicted with their tenets, recruited
Muslims and organized training sessions for them to be turned into
fierce "terrorists" charged with the responsibility of committing
carnage across all parts of the world.
To him, US is the greatest
"terrorist State" the world has ever seen but hide behind their
hypocrisy to torment the lives of innocent people.
“The United
States of America built Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda built the Taliban, Al Shabab,
all of them have their origins from the desperate, rigid and
questionable actions of the United States of America and its security
services. They are responsible for what is happening in the world
today,” he revealed during an interview with Radio Gold.
He
further asserted that the late Osama Bin Laden, leader of Al-Qaeda, was
trained and armed by the US Central Intelligence Agency. “They recruited
him. They trained him. They financed him.”
Also, the US
overthrew Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and made several
attempts to 'kill' the President of Cuba, Fidel Castro but were
unsuccessful.
Kwesi Pratt strongly averred that the US is not yet done with their "madness" as they continue to arm people to destroy Syria.
“It
is the United States of America which is responsible for this mayhem in
the world. In the cold war, in the effort to destabilize the Soviet
Union and so on; the United States of America organized Muslim radicals
and trained them to fight as Muslims. Not as nationalists, not as people
who believe in freedom; they were simply mobilized and trained as
Muslims.
“They are terrorists and they are responsible for the terrorism around the world,” he concluded. |
