The Central Regional Propaganda Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has appealed to the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unearth any hidden secrets of Nana Addo prior to the party’s October 18th primaries.
According to Allotey Jacobs, the NPP seems to be “covering up” something for Nana Akufo Addo, one of the candidates contesting the flagbearership position of the party and so, demanded a full disclosure of what they have been hiding regarding the candidacy of the two-time Presidential candidate.
He however bemoaned the character assassination attempts on Nana Addo by some members of the NPP.
“I don’t think it augurs well for our democracy for what these grown-up people are doing…I’m sure NPP; they are hiding something from Ghanaians as concerning Nana Akufo-Addo’s candidature when it comes to their flagbearership election. What is there?
Alarmed by the rate of personality attacks on Nana Addo, the NDC Central Regional Propagandist wondered what he (Nana Addo) has committed to merit the attacks on him.
Making his submissions on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, Allotey Jacobs asked “what kind of sin has he committed?”
He therefore sympathized with Nana Addo, saying “he is a human being. He is a fellow human being. He is Ghanaian…but if he should be going round and begging; apologizing to people that he’s done them something wrong, then he should come out and speak up.” |
