Baako Takes Up The Gauntlet And Warns..."I Bet You, Effah-Dartey Will Run Away!"

Captain (rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey
Kweku Baako has challenged claims by legal practitioner Captain (rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey that multiple award-winning investigator Anas Aremeyaw Anas "will regret the day he was born."

Lawyer Effah Dartey threatened to tear Anas Aremeyaw Anas into pieces during cross-examination for implicating his client, Justice Gilbert Ayisi Addo in the judicial corruption scandal.

According to him, he will make Anas regret that he was ever born of a woman when he gets to cross-examine the ace investigative journalist before the Disciplinary Committee.

Lawyer Effah Dartey's client is among the seven out of the 12 High Court suspended Judges implicated in the judicial scandal by the Tiger Eye Private Investigation.

Addressing the issue on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kweku Baako threw down the gauntlet on lawyer Effah Dartey's threats, stressing that he (Effah Dartey) will run helter skelter when he gets before the Disciplinary Committee.

He believed the lawyer will chicken out of the legal battle between his client and the Tiger Eye PI boss.

I can bet you that particular case especially; the lawyer who said so on behalf of his client on radio. I can bet that lawyer that he will be running away from the Committee sitting the day he gets there…"

He buttressed his position by alluding to an incident where a lawyer reportedly walked out of his client when he was left embarrassed before the Disciplinary Committee.

He noted that the lawyer had gone to defend his client over allegations of bribery and corruption brought against his client and revealed in the video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

But the lawyer got the shock of his life when he saw his client actually receiving bribe and therefore walked out on his client speechless.

Mr. Baako, responding to Lawyer Effah Dartey's threats, advised judges in the country to uphold their moral character in the court of law.

I’m saying that with the level of moral character that we are talking about, you couldn’t even muster the courage to confess to your own lawyer and find a way to mitigate the situation. You could even tell him the truth. And in confidence, your lawyer walks in with you only to get embarrassed and then walk out on you. That is the quality of moral character we are talking about here. And you want to take on the investigator and rubbish him, and make him look like a lawless guy…The cure for that mischief (is public viewing of the video)," he added.
