Presidential candidate of the Conventions People’s Party (CPP), Abu
Sakara has expressed his party’s support for an all-inclusive
government.
Dr. Abu Sakara, speaking in an interview with Radio
Gold on Friday, urged his colleagues to be jointly committed to ensuring
that Ghanaians uphold the country’s rule of law and also commit
themselves to nation building.
“We want to assure all our
colleagues and compatriots of our joint commitment to an enduring legacy
of democracy and the rule of law in the fourth Republic. And we want to
let everyone know that we are prepared to support a more inclusive
government in the pursuit of our common national development,” Abu
Sakara stated.
He also expressed confidence in the nine Justices
sitting on the pending election case and asked the parties involved to
accept the outcome of the court ruling.
“We should be confident
that we can meet this challenge and overcome it. We don’t want people to
be apprehended. We should be confident that on the 29th of August, we
united as Ghanaians will overcome because we have stood the test of
time,” the CPP 2012 Flagbearer added. |
