40-year old man beheaded in the Eastern Region

A 40-year old man has reportedly been beheaded by some unknown persons in the Eastern Region.

The incident occurred on Sunday at the man’s residence near Bonsu Junction.

An eyewitness narrating the incident said the man was murdered in his home after closing from church.

The deceased whose name was only given as Mr. Duah is said to have picked a quarrel with one of his two wives before the murder.

The two were bickering over an asset they both acquired in addition to some stores at Bonsu.

The deceased was later decapitated, though the wife is reported to have been absent when the murder took place.

Police have since arrested one person in connection with the murder and also taken custody of the mortal remains.
