President John Dramani Mahama will Friday be part
of an Emergency ECOWAS Heads of State and Government Summit.
The event to be held in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire will
see the gathering of other Heads of State from the West African sub-region.
The meeting is to discuss and formulate polities
and strategies for dealing with the conflict in the north of Mali.
Already a plan for a military action has been
approved with troops ready for deployment.
A statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson, John
Abdulai Jinapor said President John Mahama is expected back home Saturday, 19
January, 2013.
