Four Ministerial nominees to be vetted today

Four Ministerial nominees will appear before the Appointments Committee in parliament today to be vetted in their respective posts.

The four: Minister-designate of Food and Agriculture; Clement Kofi Humado, Alhaji A.B Inusah Fuseini; Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, Alhaji Amin Amidu Sulemani and Minister-designate for Information, Mahama Ayariga.

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the Committee Ebo Barton Oduro announced this at the beginning of a two day public hearing for the first batch of ministerial appointees on Thursday.

Some Ministers-designate for various ministries took their turns before the committee on Thursday to be vetted.

Minister-designate of Finance and Economic Planning, Seth Terkpeh, Minister-designate for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Collins Dauda and Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Hannah Tetteh; were assesed by the Appointments Committee.
