Angry NDC youth vandalize President Mahama’s billboards

A pro-NDC group calling itself NDC Youth Network for peace has reportedly poured onto the streets  vandalizing billboards belonging to President John Dramani Mahama.

The angry youth suspect President Mahama may not appoint Member of Parliament for Tamale South and caretaker Communications Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, in his government.

A witness narrating the incident to Joy FM said the youth have issued threats to the Presidency to appoint Haruna Iddrisu or they would continue with their destruction.

The incident which occurred near the Tamale Teaching Hospital saw the aggrieved youth burn down the billboard which had the images of the President and also of Minister designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini.

The Metropolitan Police Commander is said to have timely intervened and advised the youth to use the right channel by applying for permit to demonstrate.
